Now you have the fundamentals you don’t need to ‘re learn’ its just about understanding different ways of using products to create a different look.
Mastering Eye Makeup
Eyeliner Techniques
I know a lot of you love the idea of wearing eyeliner. Do you know if it would suit you? Do you know what type you should try? And do you know where it should go for your eyes or the best way to do it? The change of eyeliner can refresh and change up any eye look.
Eyeshadow Blending
You may already know how to blend eyeshadow, but did you know there are ways to dramatise or switch where you blend shadow to change eye shape? You can create smokey, winged out, cat eye, dramatic looks that are just a tweak from what you already know. You can also learn how to dramatise eyes and create a different look to what you already do…
Switching up an eye look can 100% change any makeup look. It’s also great to have some ideas for various occasions and learn of other products to assist with this.
False Lash Application
Have you ever worn lashes? Would you like to wear them? Have you ever wondered how you could wear them naturally? Or have you been more worried about how tricky it seems to put them on?
We can work with strips and explore different kinds of strips but also individual lashes, this will give you the confidence to know which looks right for you and your eyes and shape. Bit also the quick tips that keep application simple.
Enhancing Complexion
Contouring
Have you ever wondered what it would look like if you tried a ‘fuller’ look or a more in depth contoured effect? We may have covered the basic principles of contouring in your sessions but would you like to see how you could step things up a level?
We can look at different application methods to intensify contouring and products to ensure it still looks great. Contouring can really change up a look from everyday to occasion or glam.
Highlighting
Ever wonder how you could make more of highlighting and concealing? Looking at shades and what we can do to highlight, hide or colour correct skin would do just that.
Correcting face shape and colour will help to alter base and highlight features more so they are enhanced. Understanding the type of products needed for this and how or if powder products can be used would dramatically change face shape and your base and makeup look.
Flawless Foundation Application
You may already be a master of base with your new methods and products. And skin may be looking lovely and smooth. But testing fuller bases and understanding how they work would allow you to create dramatic ‘going out’ looks or ‘longwearing’ looks.
It can also be the other way round if you have always worn a ‘full’ base we can change this to look more ‘natural’ or great a ‘glowy’ skin look. The idea is through a change in products and possibly methods you can create a completely different style with makeup.
Perfecting Lip Looks
Lip Liner Techniques and Lipstick Application
We may have covered a basic lip colour or application at your session but there are so many ways to enhance lip shape and extend your colour range and comfort zone.
I know how hard it can be to decide if a shade suits you so this would help you to explore lip colour, liner shades and finishes in depth. You would also see the difference different lip liner shades can make and how to tweak lip shape through liner.
We would also explore how glosses and lipstick or lip colour work together and longwearing lip application methods.

If you’re ready to take your journey further than advanced sessions are the way to go. Now that you have the fundamentals, confidence and tools it’s very easy to bolt on little bits that change your look up and alter them for different occasions etc. You’ve already done the hard work!
